    I am getting similar error, but with a difference.

    This error occurred while updating Jetpack Plugin yesterday. I was getting the scheduled maintenance message through out my site. Later I removed the plugin using my FTP Login and re-installed the same. Also I removed the .maintenance file, as suggested by our forum members.

    But, now when everything is looking Ok for my website http://www.admissionssquare.in,
    when I try to click Updates under the Dashboard in WordPress Menu, I get this scheduled maintenance message, and no where else. Please assist!

    Did you also tried to delete this plug-in from your dashboard plug-ins. Download the latest version from wordpress.org and upload it by yourself: add new plug-in from your pc, in your dashboard?

    Maybe there is a bug in this plug-in, if this the only update what you got. Maybe you can reupload the wordpress core files. You can ask for help at the support page of Jetpack in wordpress.org.

    Please be sure you have a back-up before you tried something!
