Brief HELP with categories showing up and footer

  • I’m a newbie to blogging with WordPress and really all that entails. Anyway, having two problems configuring the free Arthemia theme.

    1) I have added several categories, but only two are showing up on my main page. I cannot figure out why for the life of me. How can I list all five categories?

    2) If you click on a post, what looks to be the footer runs all the way to the top. Giving me cluttered outlines and whiteboxes on the sidebar. How did I fix this back to white?

Here’s the link to my in-the-works-blog:

    Help would be much appreciated!

  • Empty categories will not appear. Create a test post for each category and they will show up.

Yeah, my categories are showing up fine in the sidebar. But, with the design of the theme there’s a place for five categories to show with their description on the main page. I don’t know how to edit those.
