# Brief Flash Message: Slideshow Requires Javascript

 * Not sure if this is a JetPack and/or WordPress topic, so starting here first 
   for direction 🙂
 * **Problem**: When we run the Slideshow below, a message **pops up before** the
   Slideshow starts: “_Slideshow Requires Javascript_**” but then ****the message
   disappears quickly** and the Slideshow runs fine.
 * **Question**: Is there any way to stop this message from popping up before the
   Slideshow starts?

 * Additional Note: the problem is not exclusive to the Slideshow referenced. It
   happens on all of our Slideshows on two different WordPress sites.

 * Hi there! The first thing to check is whether any other plugins on your site 
   may have a conflict. Please check our Known Issues list here:
    [http://jetpack.me/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/troubleshooting-tips/](http://jetpack.me/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/troubleshooting-tips/)
 * You can also try to deactivate all plugins on your site, and see if that resolves
   the issue. If it does, then activate them one at a time to determine which is
   causing the conflict.
 * If that doesn’t help, please rule out a theme conflict by temporarily changing
   your site’s theme to another default theme (such as Twenty Fifteen) and trying
   again.
 * Please let me know how that works for you, and we can go from there!
