Hi @viegelinsch
Thanks for reaching out.
That certainly is strange. After Senidnblue’s rebranding, previous connections worked without issues.
In a few cases, persons needed to re-verify their domain by using the new brevo dns record instead of the senidnblue dns record.
In case it helps you can reperform the steps outlined in our documentation here.
Thanks @dakeg,
unfortunately that is not the solution as I started using Brevo under the Brevo brand and the dashboard shows the verification as ok.
Although the log show no failed attempt on the API because – according to Brevo support – the API security Blocks the request much earlier. Therefore the „not verified“.
is there any way I can listen to the communication between the plug-in and the API or at least get a very verbose logging from the plug-in?

Hi @viegelinsch
Thank you for getting back to us and for sharing more details.
It certainly is strange that the issue only started after updating.
Just for reference what other plugins do you currently have active on your website? What version of WP Mail SMTP lite were you upgrading from? Was it a particularly old version?
With what you have shared so far, the main troubleshooting steps from here would be to double check your From Email address to ensure teh domain does not have any typos. Also, You could try setting up another mailer to see if this is a mailer or server issue.
The easiest ones to set up that are free would be the Google or Other SMTP mailers.
In the meantime, I will check with our developers to see if any other specific reasons come to mind.
