    This plugin is a form of *ransomware* because IT BREAKS a standard Woocommerce feature called “shipping categories” then tries to ransom that feature back to you if you buy the “pro” version.

    Restoring functionality of shipping categories isn’t a “pro feature” of THIS plugin; it’ RANSOMING back to you a feature that it STOLE from you when you installed it.

    Woocommerce should sue these people to impose a restraining order for this kind of thing. And, WordPress.org should blacklist any company that engages in this kind of activity.

    Hi @beyondbelief,

    I’m afraid that there’s been some kind of mistake here. None of our plugins have ever “ransomed” or removed any of WooCommerce functionalities, neither in their free nor in PRO versions. We strongly disagree with such attitude, oppose that kind of actions and unquestionably it’s not the direction we want to develop our plugins in.

    To be honest it’s just the opposite – all our plugins we have released do not and will never interfere with the WooCommerce default mechanisms in any terms. They are strictly designed to extend the WooCommerce in-built features and that’s the main thought we are constantly guided by while creating a WooCommerce shipping dedicated solutions.

    Could you please elaborate on the “shipping categories” you’ve mentioned and provide us with some more information what did you mean by that? We would like to understand better the problem you have encountered and help you with sorting it out, however, I’m afraid that there is no such thing as “shipping categories” in WooCommerce by default.
