Breaks Sites with Custom WP-Admin Directory

The last time I was on here you guys mentioned not redirecting /wp-admin/ to avoid breaking sites. I didn’t think much of it but then I wanted to check which redirect regex I used on the site only to find it inaccessible due to the URL of the admin area being changed to something else. How do I login without finding your plugin in File Manager and renaming the folder?
