Support » Plugin: ShortPixel Adaptive Images » Breaks Revolution Slider backgrounds

  • Resolved slomeli79

All other images across the site are handled according to the configured settings, but background images of Slider Revolution slides completely disappear, replaced by “data:image/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB2…” codes.

    Lazy Load is off.

Only happens with SPAI enabled. Soon as it’s deactivated, the slide backgrounds return.

I’ve tried all the Replace methods, with Lazy-Load off and on, and variations of other settings.

Only thing that works is excluding the image path entirely (“Excluded URLs”) or deactivating the SPAI plugin. This, of course, is not a real solution and is a waste because SPAI works for 99% of other images across the site.

  • I’ve also tested ensuring JQuery is loaded at the very top of document after seeing another similar report here. That did not fix the problem.
