    I believe this is because fonts.googleapis.com attempts to optimize the stylesheet on a per-user basis, so each user can receive a different file.

    If that is true, then as I understand it, SRI is completely incompatible with Google Fonts. If each user receives different file contents, then there is no practical way for the server to maintain a known hash for the specific resource in question.

    Given that, what this plugin needs is an “ignore” feature so that an administrator (or theme developer) can opt individual resources out of automatic SRI hash caching.

    Just posting to note that this feature has been added in version 0.3.0, released today. You should be able to exclude the Google Fonts URL, now.
