# Breaks Elementor sites

 * I’ve been using combination of WPOptimize with Elementor and Elementor Pro without
   any problems in the last few months.
 * However since end of Aug2020, in combination with Elementor Updates, WP Optimize
   breaks my Elementor sites.
 * EG
 * Menu dropdown submenus do not appear
    Blog pagination pages do not function Issues
   with loading of Menu Header.
 * I’ve had Elementor Support have a look at it and it works fine when WP Optimize
   plugin is switched off but obviously now my site loads up less efficiently without
   it.
 * Elementor have asked me to ask you guys to get in touch with their developers
   to see if this issue can be ironed out!

 * Could you try the following, which works for me:
    – go to WP-Optimize > Minify
   > Advanced > Default exclusions, – then enable “Edit default exclusions” – In
   the field “Known incompatible files”, remove all lines that contain “elementor”–
   save the settings – Test your elementor page.

 * THank you so much for the swift response.
 * Yes – this seems to have solved a majority of the issues.
    Although the speed
   has returned – scores and speed seem to be still a little bit sub-par compared
   to previous.
 * However the main functionality has returned which is important.
 * One small thing i noticed now is that the font loading up on the page starts 
   off with a system/default font before the proper font gets loaded up which looks
   weird.
 * Could you please remind me how to get rid of this?

 * I assume you are using google fonts?
 * If so, you can add the following code to your functions.php:
 * `add_filter('wpo_minify_gfont_display_swap', '__return_false');`
