• I want to show the mobile menu as soon as the widget areas begin stacking. I have tried changing the responsive breakpoint for my mega menu but it seems to have no effect. Is this due to my theme? Could it be that I have other widgets in the left sidebar? The site requires a password which I can provide if needed.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Vicky,

Please can you check you’re editing the correct theme? It looks like the breakpoint is still set to 600px (the default setting).

I only have one theme – the default – left and right sidebar – and that’s all that I see in the drop-down menu for “Select theme to edit” under mobile menu. I just changed it to 768px with no noticeable effect, so I tried 1000. I’ll leave it there until you’re able to look at it. I appreciate your reply!

    Hi Vicki,

I’m now seeing the breakpoint set as 1000px in the style.css file:

    2020-08-14_10-18-36

(Although the widget/menu itself doesn’t start displaying until the browser width is below 769px)

So how do I get it to break sooner? Or is that not part of the plug-in?

I wonder if this has something to do with the Ultimate Posts Widget plug-in which I am using to specify widget visibility by device.

    Hi Vicki,

Do you mean, “how do I get the menu to display sooner?” – if so, the visibility of the menu widget is controlled by your theme (or maybe the widget options extended plugin you’re using). Our breakpoint option only dictates when the menu itself converts from desktop to mobile mode.

    Regards,
    Tom
