breaking the theme

  • I’m wanting to change the background .gif of the theme I’m working on but whenevr I replace it doesn’t work. When I dial back to before the change it won’t revert to the .gif that was originally there and i have to re-install. Any ideas?

    what theme?
    link to your site?
    which background image?
how did you try to change the background image?
    what does not work?

When I dial back to before the change

    how do you do that?
are you working on the style.css of the theme? or any of the php files?

Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.
