Breaking 'device-width' on responsive mobile design

Hey, really a very nice plugin. However, I noticed it breaks the responsive design of my site on the iphone and android devices I tested, creating a very narrow display width as if the page was zoomed way out. Even inserting the viewport code into the header provides no avail.. <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width, initial-scale=1″>

By what I’ve been able to gather, it may be there’s some javascript that’s causing the issue, but afraid I can’t say much beyond that. Any idea what’s going here?
