Breaking admin pages

    Hi, just updated from an old version (something like .0.16 due to family health issues) to the current version and when activated, my admin pages bring up a server 500 error. I can’t seem to get anywhere related to an admin page. Curiously the site works fine including the recipes. Tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling with no change. I am using Custom Community as a theme and love your plugin. Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

    Could you try enabling WP_DEBUG in your wp_config.php file to see if you get any errors that are more useful? Might also be a memory problem.

    Didn’t think I was giving you much to go on in the first post. 🙂

    Activated the debugging, and then activated the recipe plugin. It broke the admin pages as expected but I did get a 3 line error log as follows

    Unfortunately, none of this means a thing to me. Does this help?

    (I didn’t try the htaccess bit in your link, but happy to do that as well if you’d like)

    That is helpful and does point me in the right direction.
    Would it be possible to provide me with temporary admin and FTP access?
    I know where it is failing, but that way I can figure out what specific thing on your website is causing this and fix it.
