Break up search form into sections

Hi Andrea,

Do you know if it’s possible to break up the search form into different sections/tabs, rather than having one long search form? So for example, having different tabs horizontally on the search bar each with it’s own search fields, or if using the widget in the sidebar then each section of search fields could be collapsible?
