Breadcrumbs, "taxonomy to show" conditional

    Is it possible (via code placed in functions.php) to generate breadcrumb trail according to a custom taxonomy (e.g., ‘products’) IF the post is assigned to a term in that taxonomy, ELSE the breadcrumb trail will be generated according to default “category” taxonomy?
