    I'm obviosuly doing something wrong. The breadcrumb for the homepage is fine

    You are here: Home

    But the next level down shows the home link twice:

    You are here: Home > Home > About

    I have just placed the code at the bottom of header.php (the instructions on where to put this are not very clear to me)

    The code I use is this

    <?php if ( function_exists('yoast_breadcrumb') ) {
    yoast_breadcrumb('<p id="breadcrumbs">','</p>');
    } ?>

    The theme I'musing is Skeleton, sorry cannot provide link as this is development site, but I'm hoping somebody can help.

    Hey Salvador,

    Two questions:

    1.) Are you using a static page for the front page?
    2.) Did you set the "About" page as a child of the "Home" page?

    If so, leave "About" as a top-level page, don't make it a child of the "Home" page.

    Here's why: If you have a static home page, it's treated as the top level, and all other pages are a child of it, even if it doesn't look that way in your pages listing.

    Make sense? :)

    Give it a try and let me know if it works for ya.

    Andy
