  • Did you check in the Reading Settings for “Discourage search engines from indexing this site”? You want the box to be unchecked.

    Hope that I could help.

@thesparrow The Reading Settings are upto date. The site is on Google since a while, only the breadcrumbs doesn’t seem to be there.

After checking on the Google forums, it appears that you would have to put in RDF microdata in order for the breadcrumbs to be seen.

I will provide a link from Google:

You don’t have to use the RDFa microdata format for breadcrumbs to appear within Google search results. However, it does help Google figure out what’s going on if your site’s URL/permalink scheme isn’t structured the way Google expects.

Regardless, it takes several days for breadcrumbs to start appearing within Google search results, even when RDFa microdata for the breadcrumbs is supplied. As for how to get Breadcrumb NavXT to output with the RDFa microdata see http://mtekk.us/archives/guides/how-to-implement-rdfa-breadcrumbs-with-breadcrumb-navxt/ (it will be the default for new installs in Breadcrumb NavXT 5.1).

    Greetings!

Sparrow:- Even i had read about the RDF microdata, but wasn’t assured if that is the fact as i have seen people debating on this topic since long.I guess it time for me to do a research on this.

John :- Thank you for the link.I l be waiting for one more day and then lets see

My experience :- I have used SEO By Yoast on one of my sites, they provide us with a separate breadcrumb section,I got breadcrumbs on search engine within 24 hours.
