# Breadcrumbs issue

 * Hi,
 * seams with latest update, breadcrumbs filters not working any more?
 * for example “wpseo_breadcrumb_separator” is in out functions.php worked nicely
   before, but it is not anymore.
 * Basicoully its not outputing separator at all, even the one set in plugin settings
 * We have to redo it and make separator to come from css, after “a”

 * In Yoast SEO v14.0, we have deprecated several filters and released the new Surfaces
   API. We recommend you to use the [new Surfaces API](https://developer.yoast.com/customization/apis/surfaces-api)
   and that shall fix the issue for you.
