I’ve set “Taxonomy to show in breadcrumbs for content types” for Posts to be “Category”.

I have a Post called “Have family meetings” which is in the “Family” category which sits under the “Messages” top-level category. If I enable Breadcrumbs and view the page, it shows as:
Home > Message archive > Messages > Family > Have family meetings

I would expect it to show as:
Home > Messages > Family > Have family meetings

Why does it show “Message archive”?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Can you confirm you have the latest version of Yoast SEO v7.1 and the latest version of WordPress v4.9.4? Could you please try to see if disabling and re-enabling the breadcrumbs fixes the issue?

Hi, yes I have both those versions. I hadn’t enabled Breadcrumbs before so this was my first time. I’ve disabled it, then enabled it and added the shortcode into a post, and it still displays incorrectly.

Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce the issue on our end while using the default 2017 theme. If you switch to the default 2017 theme, does that resolve the issue?
