# Breadcrumbs broken

 * Hello all,
 * I’ve just noticed that all of my breadcrumbs have been scrambled. All my posts
   now display a generic breadcrumb. As an example, for the URL included as an example(
   [http://nathaliebakes.com/tarts/raspberry-tart](http://nathaliebakes.com/tarts/raspberry-tart)),
   the breadcrumb now displays:
 * Incorrect: nathaliebakes.com › Recipes
    Should be: nathaliebakes.com > tarts ›
   raspberry tart recipe
 * Is anyone else experiencing this? Do you know what might be causing this? I am
   using version 7.7.3 of the Yoast plugin.

    We apologize for the difficulties you are having with the plugin. We would
   like some more information.
 * 1. Did you disable the breadcrumbs? We ask as we visited: [http://nathaliebakes.com/tarts/raspberry-tart/](http://nathaliebakes.com/tarts/raspberry-tart/)
   and we do not see them. If so, please enable them. That way we can take a closer
   look at how they are appearing and working.
 * 2. Then please go to SEO-Search Appearance-Breadcrumbs and confirm in the drop
   down boxes they are correctly set.
 * 3. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 4.9.7? You can check by clicking on
   the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check
   with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of
   WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide 
   explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.
 * 4. Can you confirm your theme and other plugins are all updated?
