    Hello!

Is it possible to configure the plugin to only send the top level taxonomy name for the chosen “Brands” taxonomy? We have “subbrands” that are getting tracked in Google Analytics when we only want to track the main brand.

    Hope it was understandable 🙂

    Hi,

What plugin are you using to have this kind of Brand taxonomy?

    It’s just a custom taxonomy that’s hierarchical.

    Any input on this?

    Hi @dekadinious,

Since all WooCommerce brand plugins use non-hierarchical taxonomies, I created this feature to support this kind of brand attribute.

I would be happy to change this behavior in GTM4WP core but currently there are higher priorities and I can not give you any ETA this to be implemented.

If you or your programmer can help me implement this, I would be happy to include it in the core and also note who did this addition of course
