    Hello team,

Apparently the brand on the catalogue is not syncing with Facebook catalogue. It is the name of the boutique which is filled instead.

where can I set it to take the attributes brand for this field ?

I encounter Violation of Intelectual property problemes because of this 🙂

    Using :
    Facebook for Woocomerce 2.6.1

    Hi there @joednc

    Thanks for your question!

We have an opened issue in regards to brands being not synced to the Facebook catalog.

Our developers are working on it, hopefully it will be resolved soon.

In the meantime, I think as a workaround you can mention in your Product Description what brand it is.

    I hope that helps!

Hi, we love your plugin but we have another issue without brand plugin.
We only use the normal product_attributes in woocommerce and want to easily integrate it into the facebook product feed. Do you have a snippet or function for it?

At this moment we see only the website name as brand in facebook commerce manager.

    Hi @pictibe,

To clarify, are you still referring to the Brand – is that what you are listing in the product attributes?

If so, this is the problem covered by the issue reported to our developers. There is not way to send a brand from WooCommerce to Facebook at the moment because of this bug, which does not send the information to Facebook correctly. My apologies for the inconvenience.

Hi, yes it is the same issue but we dont use the setting on single product page. We want to use a global setting to set up automatically the brand-name of our taxonomy pa_marke_hersteller. Is it possible?

Currently Facebook for WooCommerce only supports default categories. I am afraid brands must be set per product. But what you can try to do is to export all products via CSV including all post meta. This way you should be able to bulk edit the brand for products.

    Kind regards,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
