Braintree Payment "no available payment methods for your state" error

    Hi,

    I recently installed and activated the Braintree Payments Credit Card plugin for my site. However after setting everything up when I go to log out I receive the following message:

    “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.”

    All the solutions I seem to find online pertain to unavailable shipping methods and not payments. Could someone please help me out?
