Hi. My BP Profile Search used to work fine until I updated it to the latest version and now one of the fields aren’t displaying properly and giving me an error “BP Profile Search: don’t know how to display the birthdate field type.” See printscreen link below. Please advise

Hi 123webdesignme,

BP Profile Search 4.2 introduced form templating, and had to change the way custom fields are supported.

You can find the new code to support the birthdate field type in the Conclusions of http://dontdream.it/bp-profile-search/custom-profile-field-types/

Hi Andrea,

Having the same problem here, although I added the code you provided a couple weeks ago, all of a sudden the birhdate search field started to give the above mentioned error.

Any ideas?

Hi oacavus,

I can confirm the issue in version 4.2.4. Please restore the previous version while I prepare a fix. All the previous plugin versions can be downloaded here:
