• I am using WordPress 4.2.2. Can anybody assist me about ticking the boxes below the Page Editor on the website pages. They are “Custom Canonical URL”, “Robots Meta NOINDEX”, “Robots Meta NOFOLLOW”, “Robots Meta NOODP”, “Robots Meta NOYDIR”. Which of them should be ticked and which not?
    Thanks. Jack

Those aren’t part of normal WordPress. Which plugin are you using to provide those checkboxes?

Sorry that I have taken that long to respond. My message apparently disappeared when I accidentally clicked the Post block while there was a time out on the page. Can I reply again?

Sure, just reply again with the same reply box below the thread here.

Thanks, James. The check boxes are actually created by files. On the “All-in-One-SEO” on the dashboard, when you scroll down, you will find Robots.txt. By ticking (or not) the boxes, you instruct the search engines how to apply Robots.txt. I am worried about a possible blockage of some contents on my site from the search engines. So, I am not sure what instruction to give.

    Best wishes

Ok, in that case, I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/all-in-one-seo-pack#postform so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
