Box to show Code plugin?

    I’m looking for a plug in that allows me to enter HTML code and allows others to actually see and copy that HTML code in a little box.

    The best example I can give would be those MySpace graphics code boxes. They usually have some cute glittery picture and blow is a box that tells you to copy the code and paste it on to your friends page – you know the what I’m talking about?

    I have code I want to allow people to copy and paste, but I don’t know what the plugin would be called.

    Obviously the < code > tag is not it! lOl

    … or you may have more interesting resulting googling “code highlighter” as well.

    Hope that gives you some ideas …

    Actually, it’s not going well.
    I’m looking for a plug in that will do this:

    I need the box to be that small, no matter the amount of code.
    The problem is, I can’t get find the plug in to do it.

    The plug ins just display the code in a huge box.
    Worse yet, word press removes part of the tag when it saves it. So I may type < pre lang = “html” >, but wordpress removes lang = “html”
    Which is probably why the plug in fails to work.

    This is the only plug in I’ve found that shows that little code box: http://blog.kno.at/tools/highlight-source-pro/

    If I can’t find a plug in that shows that little box, then my next option is to find a plug in that forces excerpt’s on the homepage and the category listings.

    I would like people to land on the home page (or within a category) and see image after image and the least amount of code as possible.
