Could you check whether the issue persists on the theme’s demo website?

I checked the demo website and I don’t see any problem in Firefox or Chrome. I also checked somebody else’s website using the same Theme and their site also looked okay in Firefox and in Chrome.

Any suggestions as to what I may have broken? 🙁

Try deactivating plugins to explore whether any could be responsible.

okay, thank you. I will try that now. I also need to learn how to install a child theme, as I’m concerned that CSS changes may have caused a problem. 🙁

It said the 5 plug-ins have been deactivated as there is no valid header (or something like that, I can’t get the message to show a 2nd time), and it shows there is one drop-in plug-in active.

Dont exceed the max width of the image and you should be ok.
