Box not working with Chrome after trying suggested fixes.

The form is working on Firefox and IE no problem however it is blank white on chrome.
Here is what my header used to be:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd” >
<html xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml” xml:lang=”en” <?php language_attributes(); ?> >I replaced it with the suggested in other posts: <!DOCTYPE html><html>
But still noting. Please let me know how to fix it.
