 * Hey Mike,
 * I set up an e-mail address to track bouncebacks… but the bounceback notice did
   not go to the address I specified when I sent an e-mail to a known bad e-mail
   address. Any suggestions?
 * Thanks!

 * There is a warning notice on the plugin settings page about issues with Bounce
   Backs. Did you see a message like this at the top of the Settings page (Dashboard
   > Settings > Email Users)?
 *     ```
       Setting a bounce email address is no longer recommended due to it casuing delivery problems with some servers and unreliabilty.
       If you experience delivery problems, please remove the current setting: <bounce@example.com>
       ```
 * Hey mike, I see that now. What is the best way to track bounce backs then? My
   client is not receiving any bounce back notices even when sending to known bad
   addresses.
 * I can’t say for sure. I would probably try using a SMTP plugin to supersede the
   server’s built-in email functionality. Using a SMTP with an authenticated email
   connection, I believe you’ll end up getting all of the bounces sent to the email
   account being used to send the email via SMTP.
 * I suspect right now what is happening is the bounces are lost due to the header
   having a header that loses the connection to your “from” email address and there
   really isn’t anything which can be done about that with the plugin.
