• On Sep. 15, I must have done something that messed up my analytics because my bounce rate dropped from around 80% to less than 1%.

I’ve done web searches and it looks like I’ve got the Google analytics code going on my pages twice, but I can’t for the life of me figure out what is causing it or what I changed to make that happen.

I am using the Woo Canvas Theme, and had the analytics code entered where it was required. Around the 15th I had been searching for ways to see where traffic that made purchases were coming from, so I know I did something with analytics, but can’t remember what, but I don’t think it was something specific to the Canvas theme. I later determined I already had the data I needed – I just needed to look in the right place.

In trying to find the bounce rate drop problem, I downloaded Yoast’s SEO plugin and removed the analytics code from where I put it for the Canvas theme (so not to further mess things up). I did this because the Yoast plugin said it had analytics debugging capability, but I can’t figure out how to interpret what I’m seeing to know what to do.

I found that for blog posts, the tracking code is showing up twice – once for the Yoast plugin, and once for some other reason. Unfortunately, I can’t tell what might be causing this second occurrence so I’m hoping someone might see something that could give me a clue.

    My website is: http://www.NailCareHQ.com

Any help in this would be GREATLY appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Cory
