• Hello all,

I’ve been slowly modifying this blog for a while now and have had success I’m moderately pleased with.

Today I made an alteration to the footer.php and header.php files at separate times. I uploaded them, saw the site changes, didn’t like the results. SO…I unded the changes in my local file, setting them back to the way they were when I opened them, and uploaded them again.

Big time botch. Now I have things missing that weren’t missing before. And in modifying the header file, the background is now white where I had changed it originally to black.

Unfortunately, my forum and this blog are mofidified in two completely separate fashions, and it’s hard to keep track.

The question here is why could I not re-upload the original files? The thing has gone wiggy and I’e not a clue as to where I should start.

Please, any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    wordman

  • Sorry, something did not get changed correctly. Get new header.php, footer.php files from your theme’s site and upload those.
