    Hi,

Cool update! Looks more solid and modern then the previous version.

    I don’t really understand a few things that I miss a bit:

    – How do I have to control the alignment using the shortcode?
I want to have the slider centralized, but it stays left.

    – Is it possible to add and adjust a border?

    – I miss the option to add a drop shadow a bit.

    Thanks!
    Marcel.

P.s. this is how it is currently behaving on my development environment:

Hey @marceldc, the appearance of your slideshow on the link provided looks to be some WordPress auto formatting issues affecting the layout. I’ll have a look into it, probably just a small bug I need to get fixed.

The customisation options you’ve mentioned aren’t available at the moment but will be implemented again soon. It’s already being worked on, but wasn’t ready for the initial plugin release so it had to be held back temporarily. A visual interface for editing the slideshow styling is going to be added, very similar to the WordPress ‘Customise’ editor used to edit a themes styling visually. Until then, sorry about the inconvenience caused!

To center the slideshow, try putting it inside ‘<div align=”center”>’ and ‘</div>’. This should do the trick. I’ll make sure to add an option for this in the next update as well.

    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for the quick reply!

    This indeed works: <div align=”center”> [rivasliderlite] </div>
I guess I was messing up my other div tryouts hehe.

Good to know the other features will come back, I was a bit surprised that the slide looks a bit stripped now. Wanted to put my website live online soon and was happy with the overall look of the other details of the old version, so it was a bit of a surprise this morning after the plugin auto update 😉

There isn’t anything we can do to prevent the automatic updates, but we did put update notices on v1.2.1 of Easing Slider to warn users of the massive changes. None-the-less I’m sorry about any inconvenience caused. The new code is going to make your site much better; the slideshow is now professionally coded and lightweight, unlike the previous versions which were quite heavy and not optimised at all 🙂
