    Hi I have created my own theme and am using bootstrap. I can't seem to style the Navbar how I want it (color: #ffffff;) I have my own style.css.
    My code is:

    <nav class="navbar navbar-default" role="navigation">
       	<div class="navbar-inner">

    			<?php

    				$args = array(
    					'theme_location' => 'top-bar',
    					'depth'		 => 0,
    					'container'	 => false,
    					'menu_class'	 => 'nav',
    					'walker'	 => new BootstrapNavMenuWalker()
    				);

    				wp_nav_menu($args);

    			?>

    	</div>
    </nav>

    [Moderator Note: Please post code & markup between backticks or use the code button. Your posted code may now have been damaged by the forum's parser.]

    And my CSS is:
    .navbar-default {background-color:#000000; color:#FFFFFF; border:none; margin-bottom:0; padding-bottom:0;}

    .nav>li {display:inline-block; color:#FFFFFF;}
    .nav>li a:hover {color:#09C1E9;}

    nav {color:#FFFFFF;}
    .nav {color:#FFFFFF;}

    (I am trying every class or element associated with the nav to get the font color white)

    If you go to the site an inspect element in Chrome you will see that my style is there but it is crossed out. Anyone have any ideas how to remedy this?

    Thank you very much for an suggestions

    Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting.
