Just a quick question, does anyone know if the the new owners have plans to upgrade Understrap with bootstrap 5?

Yes, this is on our agenda for the next few months. We’re working on Gutenberg support first, then will be rolling out an option to use either Bootstrap 4 or Bootstrap 5.
