Bookshop: How to bulk-upload products with writers from csv

    How do I include the writers of books, artists of CDs, etc, in a .csv file for bulk upload for use in the Bookshop subtheme?

    I hope to avoid manually entering writers’ names, but rather get them from the import file.

    Thanks, I got it working.

    My merchandising person hopes for a way to import the Bookshop’s “writer” and “format” attributes (book authors! a big deal in bookstores! we have to be nice to them!) in a more graceful way. Can you recommend a better Bookshop product import plugin, paid or free? Thank you.

    Hi,

    You can also create new attributes “writer” and “format,” and import information via CSV.

    I’m not aware of a plugin that is specifically for bookshops, but you can always customize your store the way you like – in which case, we highly recommend contacting one of the services on our Customizations page (https://woocommerce.com/customizations/)
