I’m wondering if I can have two options for any book that has an ebook equivalent, so customers can just buy the digital version if it’s available. Would that be a variable product? Or do I have to cross-sell to a separate product which is the digital version?

Hi there!

You can certainly have a product that has a physical and digital component. You are correct that it would be a variable product. We have some documentation for variable products that should point you in the right direction.
