  • Hi,

    I have an event Click here to see and for some reason its not displaying the correct info.

    The event has bookings enabled, and i have set it max 10 spaces and min 1 space. 2 spaces were just booked, and now the event is closed for bookings, and the available spaces still says 10 spaces, but in the bookings admin panel it says 2 spaces approved.

    what is going on? is there a setting i missed or i should have set?

    i have no-user booking mode enabled but i dont see how this could cause this.

  • Ok so i figure out that i had set a cut off date to the bookings. so bookings become closed after the event starts.

    the only problem with this is, it seems to reset the available spaces. this isnt a problem so much, but for me it is. Take a look at the front page of my website Click here you will see my events listed under todays session times on the right side bar of the main page. It lists the spaces that are still available for each event as well.

    Ideally when an event closes or is fully booked it should disappear from my todays sessions time list, or the event calendar entirely.

    To help users understand that they can only reserve tickets if there are available spaces, i have put in the Available spaces shortcode in the event listing.

    Take note that the available spaces resets back to its maximum when the booking has been cut off.

    for me this is confusing to customers, could you suggest a better way to use the shortcodes and to organise stuff???

    or is this a bug? I will post a new topic addressing this specifically.

    Maybe it’s a caching issue? Your public pages may be showing previously cached content.

    We don’t have a feature which removes fully-booked events from the list (yet), you’d need to use conditional placeholders to indicate this in the display (e.g. graying it out, sold out sign etc.)

    Ok, cool thanks. A bunch of event bookings came through this morning and i can now confirm that its all working properly. what ever i did it seems to have fixed itself.

    Thanks for getting back to me, im super psyched about the conditional place holders, thanks heaps 🙂 can’t believe i missed them.
