    Hi,

I integrated the step-by-step booking form 2.0 into a page (via shortcode and a trigger button, opening in a popup) allowing visitors to book timeslots for appointments in the frontend. The form is configured to display both booked and available slots. The timeslots are 15-minute service slots. The assigned employee is configured to be only available within standard working hours on a few individually selected (special) days. Works fine in general.

But there seems to be a small issue when the user selects a date (and only a date, not clicking on any timeslot next) and then closes the popup via X. When opening the popup a 2nd time, the previously selected date is still preselected, but the booked slots are not displayed anymore, only the available ones.

Not sure if the preselected date is a good thing here, some users might be confused that the popup automatically scrolls down to the timeslots on 2nd entry. Yet I wouldn’t classify that as a bug, could also be seen as a feature.
But not displaying the booked slots on 2nd entry is a bug. Would be great if you could look into this.

This must be a misunderstanding, I’m using the free version.

    Hello,

Apologies for the misunderstanding regarding the plugin version. Thank you for clarifying that you’re using the free version.

In order to investigate this issue thoroughly, could you please provide a screenshot or a short recording showing the problem when the popup is reopened? This will help us pinpoint why the booked slots aren’t displaying correctly.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hello,

I replicated the issue in a sandbox WP instance. Amelia version 1.2.32 (latest). Recording:
    https://temp.koob.net/WP%20Amelia%20-%20Booked%20slots%20not%20displayed%20on%202nd%20entry.mov

Here the service is configured for a duration of 30min, time roster is 15min. When the popup is opened the first time you’ll see that the start time of 09:00 is marked as unavailable. On the second time, the 09:00 entry is completely missing in the list.

I just wanted to update you and say that our developers logged it as a bug. I can’t promise an ETA when it will be resolved, though.

Thank you once again for letting us know!

Thanks for the update! Don’t worry about ETA, this issue is not at all urgent to me. It’s merely cosmetic.

I’d only prefer if you didn’t mark it as resolved prematurely. Be assured that I’d update the status myself after a successful retest.

    Hi again.

I completely understand your point. The reason we marked the thread as “Resolved” is because this is the standard practice for issues that have already been logged with our developers and don’t require further input. Unfortunately, we can’t keep topics open indefinitely once the next step is on our side.

That said, the status of the thread doesn’t mean the issue is being ignored — it has been forwarded to our development team, and they’ll address it in an upcoming update.

Thanks again for reporting this, and we truly appreciate your contribution to improving Amelia.
