Bolding in Admin Area

    First time I have installed a RC Candidate and the first time I am making a comment on the style of the admin area. I some sans-serif font usages in the Admin Panel with odd character sizes ( I am using a local Mamp Install ).

    I see a lot of titles have been bolded. Although I am sure I could get use to it. Do we need every title to be bolded?

    I was always told by graphic designer friends that bold was toe used sparingly. (Much like the overly used exclamation mark)

    Also with the use of all of this san-serif bolding it has reduce the visual importance to the actual page title, which is in a none bolded serif font.

    We went from Lucida Sans to Verdana. It was bold previously, but Verdana is a bolder and wider font. It took some time getting used to after we made the change, that’s for sure.

    Thanks for such a good explanation Andrew. I am sure I will get use to it in the long run…
