• Hello,

I am testing the free version of AST on my site and am experiencing an issue with the automatic coloring of links in Outlook and Gmail clients. Ex. tracking links do not inherit the color originally set in the AST customizer but are automatically colored blue. This interferes with the visual branding of the emails and doesn’t look very professional. Is there a way to use hinder this using css or could you make some changes to the source code to avoid this (or at least make it an option to disable it)?

    Kind regards,
    Rikke

Hi, you can submit translation files here and we will add these files to the next release of AST

I am not sure what you mean by your second message re. translation files. I am suspecting that message was intended for someone else.

    Hi @kongb,

I checked the second screenshot and it’s not related to our plugin. We are not adding this content.

    Thanks,

    Hi Zorem,

The second shot is of a transactional completed order email created with the WooCommerce Email Template Customizer by Villatheme. They have a Hook widget which allows for displaying of information from third party plugins -in this case a (test) tracking number created via AST. I have spoken to the Villatheme about the issue and they said that css has to be added to the AST plugin in order to change the color. However, I don’t see anywhere to add this in the customizer, so if it is not something you will change globally for the plugin, I would appreciate it if you could advice me where I might add the css in the plugin files. Ex. I have a child theme installed, so I could make a copy of the file and put it in the child theme folder. I am just unsure which file(s) to add to.

    Kind regards,
    Rikke

NB. The issue only exists in Outlook desktop. Outlook for mobile is fine. So is Gmail browser and mobile app

    Hello Zorem,

I wonder if you have seen my reply to your last message. I noticed that the email thread had been marked with a status of resolved?!

    Kind regards,
    Rikke
