Blue shading/shadow appears randomly in posts

Hi all,
I’m not sure what version I’m using (where do I find that info?) and this is all very new to me. When I post to my blog sometimes — though not always — a blue border/shading appears around the text and photo. It appears to happen totally randomly. Any advice?
