I am trying to make my very first website. I am using the photogrid-theme, and the first thing I wanted to do, was to change the header.
I opened the current header image in Gimp, and did some minor changes with it. I saved it, and converted it to a .png-file. I then uploaded the image via Filezilla to photogridtheme/images in the right column.
I then went into the editor, chose the “header part” in the right menu, and found the:
<div align="center"><a>"><img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory'); ?>/images/logo.jpg" class="logo" alt="logo" /></a></div>
[Please post code & markup between backticks or use the code button. Your posted code has now been permanently damaged by the forum’s parser.]
The new logo is called logo2.png, so I switched /logo.jpg with /logo2.png.
According to all the videos I´ve seen, that should be it? However, the header is now reduced to a question mark. Tried numerous of images, antler.jpg, logo3.png, all of them uploaded to the images-file in Filezilla, but I can’t work it out.
I have seen in some other videos that I could perhaps edit the Stylesheet, found at the bottom of the right menu in the editor, but I can’t seem to find any image files there at all.
My site is http://www.viljevik.no/wordpress-1
Any help would be great, I have worked on this for days now, watched six tutorials in youtube and all, but I just don´t understand why it is not working.
