Blue Border on Images

    I’ve been looking through everything in the css file, but I can’t find how to take this border offer. I know it’s because there is a link in the image.

    Do I need to add something to the css to remove the border, or is there something there that I need to change? Thanks for your help.

    Add border:none; to your “a” classes in CSS.

    songdog, thanks. I have been reading throughout trying to get answers, so I’ve been adding the border:none and padding:0 to all of those a classes.

    After reading your post, I changed all of my “border:0” entries (something I read in another post), to border:none.

    Now, the border is still there when the page loads, but it disappears when I hover! I will not sleep until this goes away.

    If you’re still around, what is the “standing still” version of the a:hover class? maybe I need to add it somewhere?

    I did a few different things, but I added this to my css and the border went away:

    a img {
    padding: 0;
    border: none;
    }

    All the other entries in the css covered “img:hover”, “img:active”, etc, but not just plain “img”. If that didn’t do it, then I have no idea what happened.

    Good that worked; some people include “img” classes for “a” links in CSS, depending on the programmer.

    You can also add an outline:none; to a:hover and a:active links, to get rid of the dotted line that sometimes surrounds links.
