It was difficult – I’m an artist, not a computer-oriented person – but I figured out how to create and refine a website for my artwork. I’m very proud of myself. Yay!
However, I’m not happy with the blog associated with my theme and decided to set it up on Blogspot. Now, after reading posts on this site I’m wondering if I’m going at this the right way.
I don’t know anything about SEO, links – outbound or incoming – etc., but logically speaking it doesn’t seem like a good idea to send visitors off my site.
This was my initial message:
I have a website, http://www.SusanLStewart.com, created in the WPFolio theme and hosted on BlueHost.
I created a page named “Blog” that appears on the nav bar.
I’ve started a blog on Blogspot, http://susanlstewart.blogspot.com/
I’m trying to figure out how to configure the page so that if someone clicks on “Blog” in the nav bar they go directly to the blog. I tried copying the URL and pasting it onto the Blog page but that didn’t work.
Once there, I don’t know if there is an easy way for them to return to the website from the blog without clicking the back button.
Is there a better way to do any of this? I’m open to suggestions.
One of the best aspects of WordPress is the community of users willing to help. Thank you for helping me sort this out!
