# Blogrolling error

 * First I must congratulate with WordPress 1.2 – even for a totally dumphead like
   me with no experience in php it was easy and smooth.
    I have one error though,
   and I appologize to all of you that must thinh – dogh…not again – I cannot import
   my blogroll. The error states: Warning: file(): URL file-access is disabled in
   the server configuration in /customers/eatmyshorts.dk/eatmyshorts.dk/httpd.www/
   wp-admin/link-import.php on line 116 Warning: file([http://rpc.blogrolling.com/opml.php?r=f19a421a224fd86e66221f0694b69553](http://rpc.blogrolling.com/opml.php?r=f19a421a224fd86e66221f0694b69553)):
   failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /customers/eatmyshorts.
   dk/eatmyshorts.dk/httpd.www/wp-admin/link-import.php on line 116 Warning: implode():
   Bad arguments. in /customers/eatmyshorts.dk/eatmyshorts.dk/httpd.www/wp-admin/
   link-import.php on line 116 XML error: no element found at line 1 I ahve been
   reading og how to fix the bug in 0.72 – but I guess it does not apply to this
   version. As I am aware trying to migle in php without knowing how to do it will
   only make a new and even more fatal error. Please reply in baby language 😉 Thanx

 * There’s a simple way to import your blogroll with [Rebelpixel’s plug-in](http://rebelpixel.com/projects/rp-blogroll/).
   
   You just need to create a [blo.gs](http://www.blo.gs) profile. It’s powerful 
   and allows for quite a bit of customisation.

    Does that mean that my existing blogroll from blogrolling.
   com cannot work with this – that I have to create a new row of links? regards

 * Just head on over to [blo.gs](http://www.blo.gs) and create a new list. It’s 
   a bit time-consuming, but the plug-in is worth it.

 * Your error is a PHP error caused by your host disabling opening remote files 
   with PHP. Ideally, your host shouldn’t do this. But I realize you may be locked
   into your current host with a contract or something. You may try saving the blogrolling
   OPML file to your hard disk and then uploading it in the import form.

 * Well I might be an idiot – but I have followed the Rebelpixels instructions very
   carefully, but when I put the code in the index file I get this error:
    Parse
   error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /customers/eatmyshorts.dk/eatmyshorts.
   dk/httpd.www/index.php on line 84 So what am I doing wrong here?

 * Sorry now there is another error:
    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
   in /customers/eatmyshorts.dk/eatmyshorts.dk/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/rp-plugin-
   blogroll.php on line 112 I am about to guess that I will never have a blog roll
   in this program…:-( Somtimes its hard to be a php-moron!
