Hey! I’ve managed to design my blog to my liking using Platform, and I haven’t touched the CSS or HTML or PHP in case I’d mess something up. So I don’t really know if this is a wordpress problem or a Platform problem, but when I write a blog post the main content (text) shows up twice. Example:

    HELLO WORLD! (Header)

This is my first blog post! (Text)

This is my first blog post! (Text2)

    How do I change this?!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

This happened even when I used twentyeleven. I do not think any widget is the problem because I’ve disabled and enabled every single one and nothing happens (using the twentyeleven theme I used “Advanced Code Editor”, “One-Click Child Theme” and “TAC (Theme Authenticity Checker)”. And I had this problem even before I installed any of the latest widgets, so I know for a fact that the latest widgets are not the problem.

I have no clue what this means.

This is basic WordPress troubleshooting, Please re-read the suggestions I gave above.

Oh, ok sorry. I tried changing the theme back to twentyeleven and the problem disappeared. But changing back to the platform-theme led the duplicate post problem to come back. What do I do now?

Sorry but it sounds like this is a theme issue.
