I removed the Bloglovin button and plugin thinking that was the end of it. But now when I use Hootsuite to advertise my blog posts from MY WEBSITE, the posts shows a bloglovin link instead! It also adds a @bloglovin to my tweets.

How do I get rid of this disaster? When I thought I was sending traffic to my site, it was going to bloglovin!

    Hi mibtp,

This plugin simply adds the Bloglovin widget, so there must be something else that is causing that behaviour on your website.

I would recommend disabling all plugins to test this. If that doesn’t work, then you might need to contact the support team at http://help.bloglovin.com/ to see if they can advise.

    Hope that helps,

Actually, it was because of Bloglovin; not another plugin. I found a solution from a blog where they had the same issue. I had to log into Bloglovin and UNcheck the box to allow the “frame.”

That fixed it. Now when I promote my posts through Hootsuite, people are actually sent to my website/blog and not re-routed to Bloglovin.

    Hi mibtp,

That’s great, I’m glad you managed to fix the issue! Just to clear up any confusion for people who view this thread, this plugin is not the same as the Bloglovin service itself. The plugin can be used to add Bloglovin’s follow button to any website.

If I understand correctly, I think you may have had the “frame” feature enabled in your settings at bloglovin.com? You can (and probably should) disable this in your Bloglovin settings page (http://imgur.com/WX7oDKk). If you need any more help with their sharing service you would need to contact them via http://help.bloglovin.com.

If you need any help with this plugin and its options, please feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to help with any issues 🙂

    Thanks,

    Phil (pipdig)
