Blogging & my company website (2 posts)

I'm pretty new to blogging and wanted to know if this is possible. My company is redesigning their website and we'd like to integrate blogging into our layout. We've already set up an internal page template with header & footer areas, primary & secondary navigation, and styles for all of the text and links.
What'd we'd like to do is set up a "Blog" page that functions as just another page on our website with all of the aforementioned elements and blog entries instead of body copy & images. In other words, all we're interested in is the blog entries, comments, and sidebar items (like previous posts and what not). Does anyone know of a way to do this or has anyone already done it?

Create your regular site in root. You can create directory called "blog" or set it up in a subdomain called blog.example.com for example, and install WordPress there. You can recreate your theme in WordPress and hardcode your regular site's main navigation links in the WordPress theme.
Or Google for XHMTL/HTML template to WordPress theme
