Support » Fixing WordPress » Blogger Importer – not working?

  • I am attempting to import a Blogger blog into a test site using a sub-domain (http://www.halfahundredacrewood.dreamhosters.com/). I am able to successfully authorize the access and the Blogger blog shows up in the WP importer (with the correct number of posts and comments pending). However, once I click the import button nothing happens.

I have reauthorized the connection several times. I have deactivated all other plugins, and I’m using the 2015 theme.

    Any ideas?

Just noticed as I posted this, that the the sub-domain has the www. in front of it. Wondering if that is causing the problem. Will contact the hosting company and see if it can be removed.

I’m running into the same issue. I think it’s because Google stopped supporting something called OAuth on April 20th? I’m not sure what it is, but I’ve been using Blogger Importer Extended. The formatting isn’t to my liking, but at least it also grabs the pages too (a something this importer didn’t do.).

    Good luck!
