Support » Themes and Templates » [Theme: Montezuma] How to delete the "Read More"-option

  • Hello!

    I am quite new and just set up a blog. (Link:
    Now: As you can see, the front page gives a “read more”-option even though I did not select it when writing the post.

    Is there any chance I can change that?
    The theme is called Montezuma.

    I am really looking forward reading from you!

  • I found the following code under postformat.php. How would I have to change the code in order to delete the excerpt option and show the complete post on the Blog?

    Thanks a lot for your help!

    <div id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>" <?php post_class( 'cf' ); ?>>
    		<span class="post-format"></span>
    		<a>" title="<?php the_title_attribute(); ?>" rel="bookmark"><?php the_title(); ?></a>
    		<?php bfa_comments_popup_link( '0', '1', '%' ); ?>
    	<?php bfa_thumb( 620, 180, true, '<div class="thumb-shadow"><div class="post-thumb">', '</div></div>' ); ?>
    	<div class="post-bodycopy cf">
    		<div class="post-date">
    			<p class="post-month"><?php the_time( 'M' ); ?></p>
    			<p class="post-day"><?php the_time( 'j' ); ?></p>
    			<p class="post-year"><?php the_time( 'Y' ); ?></p>
    		<?php bfa_excerpt( 55, ' ...' ); ?>
    	<div class="post-footer">
    		<a>" title="<?php the_title_attribute(); ?>">
    		<?php _e( 'read more →', 'montezuma' ); ?></a>
    		<p class="post-categories"><?php the_category( ' · ' ); ?></p>
    		<?php the_tags( '<p class="post-tags">', '', '</p>' ); ?>

    [In future please wrap your code using backticks]

    I, too, would like to know how to remove the ‘Read More’ option. If possible, I just want to remove it for a single post. Is there a way to do this too?
